Welcome
Welcome to the site from Dr Paula Brusky, bassoonist. I am a bassoon performer, teacher, and researcher. Based in Northeast Wisconsin, I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at St Norbert College, a research affiliate at the University of Sydney, a specialist in pain and injury prevention for musicians, and an accomplished chamber musician.
I am the founding director of the BCMCC, a new competition encouraging chamber music for the bassoon. Four exciting compositions have been selected as winners for the 2010 BCMCC and plans for the MSR Classics recording and world premiere concert are underway.
