Additional Information

By participating as a judge in the BCMCC you will have a direct effect on the new compositions available to the bassoon community.  You will also have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback to the composers of the future and influence their skills for future bassoon works.  The purpose of the BCMCC is to foster relationships between exciting young composers and outstanding bassoonists; you can choose to release your name to the composer you send feedback to or you can remain anonymous.

Judges will be thanked on the concert program and CD insert.  Judges will also be acknowledged on  materials pertaining to the BCMCC including journal articles announcing the competition, emails encouraging composers to participate, and on the competition website.
