The 2010 BCMCC World Premiere Concert took place during the 2011 International Double Reed Society conference at Arizona State University on Friday 3 June.

Guest Lectured at Eastern Kentucky University on January 27 and 28.  Taught bassoon students, played a solo recital, gave masterclass to woodwinds, and presented a workshop on “Pain and Injury Prevention for Musicians” to music school.

Journal Article: “The High Prevalence of Injury Among Female Bassoonists” is now available in Medical Problems of Performing Artists: Volume 25, Issue 3, pages 120-125. – 6 Novmeber

Bay Winds performed at Wequiock Elementary on November 5.

Performed on 30 October 2010 at St Norbert College;  All Saints Concert.

Performed on 14 October at St Norbert College; Poulenc Sonata with clarinetist Karen Stefiuk.

Performed  with Laura Kanoski and Daniel Pesca in Lutkin Recital Hall at Northwestern University on 10 October.  The program included the world premiere of Australian composer Hayden Woolf’s “Persist To Subsist Through Inconsistent Hostile Skin” for soprano, bassoon and piano.

Guest lectured at Northwestern University on 9 October, “Pain and Injury Prevention for Musicians.”

Guest lectured at Lawrence University on 30 September, “Pain and Injury Prevention for Musicians.”

Presented a paper at The College Music Society National Conference in Minneapolis on 25 September  entitled “Addressing Injury Prevention While Teaching.”
