2012 began with the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra and a performance of Strauss waltzes.  This was my first time playing with the group.  I really enjoyed the personalities of ensemble members, which made the post concert festivities a wonderful way to bring in the new year.  Ok, truth be told, I was actually in my car driving home from the gig when the ball dropped for central time.  (What can I say?  I turn into a pumpkin around midnight!  I needed to go to sleep!!!!)  But the gala was a lovely event!
